Input devices

 Keyboard

A keyboard is an input device, partly inspired by the typewriter keyboard, which uses a system of stitches or margins, to act as mechanical levers or electronic switches that send all the information to the computer or mobile phone.

Functioning

A keyboard performs its functions through a microcontroller that has a program installed for its operation, which is executed and performs the matrix scan of the keys when one is pressed, and thus determines which ones are pressed.

Computer cabinet

Computer or computer cabinet or tower is the metal or plastic structure, whose function is to house and protect most of the components of a personal computer

Functioning

The cabinet of a computer is the piece in charge of protecting the parts that make up the CPU, this element receives different names, which is why it is also known as a box, casing, chassis or computer tower.

Mouse

The mouse is an input device designed to manipulate objects on a computer screen and help you, the user, interact with the computer.

Microphone

It is a device that captures sound and translates it into electrical impulses that can then be encoded, stored, transmitted, and reproduced. The microphone introduces a spoken message, music or any other type of sound to the system.

Functioning

The mouse is an input device designed to manipulate objects on a computer screen and help you, the user, interact with the computer.

Camera

It is a device that captures an image, uses a system of photosensitive lenses and components, and then digitizes and transmits it to the system. These cameras can take pictures or videos that are transmitted or reproduced later.

Functioning

A still camera or photo camera is a device used to capture images or photographs.

Scanner

It is a device that digitizes documents or images and inserts them into the computer. These files can then be stored, sent or edited.

Functioning

The scanner is a diagnostic technique based on performing a non-invasive examination that combines special X-ray equipment with sophisticated computers to generate multiple images of the interior of the organism.

Code bar scanner

It is a device, which can be a pistol, base or bar, that works as an optical reader that recognizes a barcode (black lines on a white background) in which the information of a product is contained.

Functioning

Description. The control opens a native scanner on an Android, iOS, and Windows device. The scanner automatically detects a barcode, QR code, or data matrix code when in this view. Control does not allow scanning in a web browser.

Functioning

Joystick (from English joy, joy, and stick, stick) is an analog, electrical or digital device that works as a joystick control and allows you to manually move the cursor or replace the keyboard on a computer screen.

Optical pencil

It is a pencil-shaped device that is used on tactile supports, such as monitors and screens, to enter information into the system.

Functioning

With the same appearance as a traditional pen, light pens (also known as stylus) allow you to take notes, sign documents, draw or select different parts of the touch screen of a tablet, smartphone or any other device.

Graphic tablet

It is a digital flat base on which the user traces graphics and drawings that are later reflected on the computer screen.

Functioning

The graphics tablet is used to draw, paint, take notes, perform 3D modeling and be used to move on the screen like the mouse.
